The TNP Web Planner uses a variety of Internet-based map (and photo) sources. At this time the TNP PC Desktop Software can not access these maps/photos directly, due primarily to differences in file formats, etc. Moreover, many of the map types available on the TNP Web Planner web site have very restrictive licenses that do not permit access to those maps/photos in manners possible in the Terrain Navigator Pro PC desktop software.
That said, we are always looking for exciting and new map sources to be used in our TNP family of products - including the PC desktop. Look for the list of available map types on the PC desktop to grow as we continue to refine and improve our products.
