Add easy Internet access on/off toggle
Easy Internet Access On/Off Switch - with a default that can be set by the user. I have experienced repetitive difficulties starting this program due to poor internet access, and would like to be able to set a default start to the maps I already have stored on my computer, for instance the 1:24,000 USGS topographical maps. Then, when I find the area I am working on, I could click the easy switch (rather than a setting buried three layers deep in the menu) to allow it to load aerials, if I so choose.

While the existing setting is a bit buried, it does retain the preference between runs. I would like more ideas on how we can improve this. Perhaps a keystroke held down when TNP starts that would enable/disable Internet? Maybe click on the Internet “light” at the bottom?
Also, be sure that you are running the latest version of TNP. See: https://tnp.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/165863

Hello! Is this idea still under review? I think that Mr. Shadow's comment about clicking on the "Internet" box to enable/disable would be great.

I like the idea of just clicking on the word internet to enable or disable it.

Perhaps a toggle next to the light at the bottom?
