An error occurred while saving the comment I don't know if we can realistically issue another whole set of DVDs. However, do know that you can download the alternate edition maps (and photos) using Copy Maps to Hard Drive in the File menu. While it will take some time to download the them, you will have access to those maps when you do not have an Internet connection.

An error occurred while saving the comment Google Earth has a wider variety of photos available. However, their tool set is somewhat limited, in part, because of the licensing agreements Google has with the various public and private agencies that provide those photos.
We are in the process of making some additional photos available for Terrain Navigator Pro which will meet or exceed the quality available in Google Earth. Please keep an eye on our web site for this exciting news.

An error occurred while saving the comment You can do a lot of this already with the Route tool. For details, please see:
http://tnp.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/172140However, there is much we can do to improve this process - and will consider doing so as we refine Terrain Navigator Pro.

It would have to be more complex than setting an angle. In essence you need to be able to pick a quadrant to base the marker/waypoint name from. (Currently it is in the southeast quadrant.) Then you would need to set an angle (or just 0deg and 45 deg.) from that quadrant.
It's tricky to do well, which is why it hasn't been added - yet. (But please, keep the comments, ideas, and "votes" coming.)
