Allow the mobile to display different colors for tracks
It would be nice if the tracks imported in the colors seen/set in the desktop version of that imported track, they all seem to import in blue. One example of why this is important would be having a project boundary be colored red, but existing road/trail systems yellow and a proposed pipeline blue. To make use of that track data on one project colors are vital.

iPad Specific Version
Make an edition of TNP for the iPad. It should work in full screen mode and support devices that do not have a built in GPS. (I know that the iPhone TNP app works on GPS-enabled iPads.)

Hide the start/end indicators for tracks.
Can you get rid of the flags that appear at the start and end of a track. They are sometimes useful, but often get in my way.

Marker symbol and color
I'd like the same marker symbol and color options that I have on the desktop also be available on the mobile app. And changes need to be synchronized, too.

Overlay Support (Shapefiles)
TNP desktop supports shapefiles through overlays. Any chance that you can add overlay synchronization to the mobile device?

Add Polygon tool to the mobile app.
You pop a marker and you can track on the mobile app. Need to be able to calculate acres in the field by going around a field and show acres on the app

Add Synch Now button.
I never know when the mobile app is going to synchronize. Please add a "Synchronize Now" button somewhere that is easy to find.

Display location when not recording a track
The app doesn't display my position (lat/lon) unless a track is being recorded. I'd like to see it all of the time.

I'd like to use the TNP desktop software to load up my SD Card with the maps and photos I want. Any way you could add that?

Sync marker types with the desktop
Marker options (display name, icons, etc) and the ability to set how they appear on the mobile version in the marker menu/default menu within the desktop application would make use of projects with multiple marker types possible. One example where this would be vital is a project area with a bunch of wells, active wells/inactive wells/wells to be sampled might each be a different color or marker.

Compass while using the map
It would be a lot easier if you had a compass bearing while you have the map screen up

Range/Bearing Tool
The RBL tool in the desktop app is great. I'd like to have that same tool on the mobile app.

Show Project Name
I have a lot of Projects. I'd like to see what project is active without leaving the map page. Can you add it across the top of the screen or something?

Unique color for current track
This is a simplified version of the suggestion to display all tracks in the same colors that are assigned on the computer. If that idea is too complex for the mobile software, using a unique color for the current would be a very helpful compromise.

Add "Do not Synchronize" function
The app is always trying to synchronize, whether or not there is a good connection. I'd like to be able to turn off synchronization (temporarily) when I know I'm going to be offline for a while.

Add sunrise/sunset
It would be handy to have a feature that shows sunrise and sunset. If this included moon information as well, that would be handy.

Use of same vehicle route tool in the Mobile App
In the desktop/web version you can create routes between waypoints using roads. Rather than the straight line distance it will show you the route you need to take using roads. There have been many times that I would have loved to have this on my phone. You cannot create such custom routes using Google Maps, which is why I turn to TNP. If I want to drive to 5 different waypoints stretched over many miles of roads, I can use that route tool and it will plot the routes I need using roads. This tool is EXCELLENT! And it would…
